So, how did I choose the name for my blog?
Well, we were recently at dinner with friends who have been married forever and have four teenage children. The wife, lets call her Mrs Magpie was telling us about a recent conversation, well disagreement really, with her husband. I gather he was telling her (in the nicest, most loving way possible) that she was fatter, crosser and generally unrecognisable from the girl he dated.
He finished his comments with the phrase "What on earth happened to Miss Bloggs?"
Quick as you like his wife replied "Grumpy Mrs Magpie ate her!".
And there you have it.
